White Clam Pasta Sauce

With minced clams, aromatic garlic, and a touch of white wine, it creates a flavorful sauce that pairs beautifully with your favorite pasta.

Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 cans minced clams, drained (reserve the clam juice)
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter

 

Instructions:

  1. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the finely chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet, and sauté until golden and fragrant.
  3. Drain the clam liquid into the skillet with the onion and garlic mixture, stirring well to combine.
  4. Add the dry white wine, minced clams, fresh parsley, and white pepper to the skillet.
  5. Simmer the sauce gently for about 15 minutes.
  6. Stir in the butter until melted and smooth.
